Story

It has been over 30 years since the Children Act 1989 came into force yet there are few text books covering Schedule 1. Now James Pirrie of Family Law in Partnership and Charlotte Bradley of Kingsley Napley have published the 3rd edition of this popular book which provides a guide to the current law and practice for both practitioners and litigants.

Eleri Jones, Chris Lundie, Rhys Taylor, Sofia Thomas and Jenny Walsh have also contributed to this valuable publication.

The Honourable Mr Justice Cobb comments: “A valuable and comprehensive reference guide and practitioner manual, presenting the current law in a logical and accessible format. I strongly commend this book”.

The book is available for download in exchange for a donation to one or more of our chosen charities, The Hampton Trust (via this JustGiving page), NACCC (via this link: https://kn.legal/NACCC) and Cure Parkinson's (via this link: https://donate.cureparkinsons.org.uk/b/my-donation please ensure you provide the reference as 'FLIP/Kingsley Napley' when making your donation). The suggested minimum donation is: £100 for firms/teams; £30 for individuals.

Once you have made your donation, please email Matilda Pigneguy at FLiP (mp@flip.co.uk) to receive a downloadable copy of the book.

Thank you!
